What I can and cannot do with System 6


What I can do with system 6

- I can print on any postscript laserprinter ever made.
- I can run older versions of productivity programs as photoshop, quark, excel and word.
- I can send e-mails
- I can ftp
- I can write html
- I can program..
- I can make my mac talk, using mactalker
- I can do basically anything a modern computer can do, apart from running the latest software.

What I cannot do with System 6

- I cannot run 'modern' applications
- I cannot address more than 8 MB of RAM, unless I use a special program (see Tips and Tricks)
- I cannot handle hard disks larger than 2 Gigabytes in size.
- I cannot handle any modern Web browser. Only older, limited-use browsers will run on system 6.
- I cannot do Applescript.
