TOPIC

What is the SCSI transfer rate for the Macintosh SE/30 and Macintosh IIx? Also, does the slot transfer rate (below the SCSI transfer rates in that document) indicate how fast the NuBus and Macintosh SE expansion slot can transfer data? Do you have this information for the Macintosh SE/30 processor-direct slot?

DISCUSSION

The SCSI transfer rate for the Macintosh IIx, Macintosh IIcx, and Macintosh SE/30 is the same as the Macintosh II: 937KB per second.

The rates quoted in the "Slot Transfer Rates:" section are the theoretical maximum rate that data can be transferred along the bus of that particular machine.

The processor-direct slot is capable of transferring data at up to 15.6672MB per second.
