Macintosh Color Classic (Performa 250) Specs
 If you are going to use System 7.1 with the Color Classic. Make sure you install the System Update 3.0 images or disks. It will install the System Enabler 401 which will make System 7.1 work with the Color Classic.
For AppleShare use: Use System 7.1 or higher as an AppleShare workstation. This machine can be used as an AppleShare file server.

For telecommunications use: Can use 9600 baud modem or lower, anything higher may cause problems. Stock Macintosh Color Classic can be placed on the Internet, with at least 4MB of RAM.

Hard Drive use: Cannot use the Apple's HD20!! Stock Macintosh Color Classic can use any SCSI hard drive (25 pin port on back). SCSI only - Use a 1:1 interleave.
