Mac OS X
Mail

I am in love with the Mail application which comes with Mac OS X. It could be that it reminds me a lot of another friend I have used a small amount over the years. Or that it is so simple to use for my work. NeXT Mail was the “friend” mail application I had used. NeXT Mail grew up a bit into what it now called Mail for Mac OS X.

The About... screen.

Mail has two window panes - The top which has the messages in the current mailbox and the viewer portion. The mailboxes section can be placed on the left or the right. To switch sides just click on a message and drag to either side.

Here is a look at Mail from Apple's Mail page. There is a QuickTime movie which shows you how to customize Mail.
