System 6.0.4 / Finder 6.1 (System Software Update 6.0.4)
The Finder version didn't change, the desktop didn't change. Changes- This version was updated when the Macintosh IIci was introduced. The Installer application allowed you to install all of the software from one install program. Otherwise the AppleShare Client, printers were ran or "dragged and dropped" from different disks. Support for the Macintosh Portable was included. This version creates a System Folder for you, previous versions had a complete System Folder on the disk. Hypercard 1.2.5 was meant to be run with System 6.0.4.
