Q: Can I run the TPD/20gs or /21gs on a Mac SE with a TPD interface?

A: No. The timings that the TPD/20gs or /21gs need are different from what the TPD-SE interface provides.

Q: Can I run a TPD/20gs or /21gs on an original TPD interface?

A: No. The timings that the TPD/20gs or /21gs need are different from what the original TPD interface provides.

Q: Can I run a Radius TPD from a PowerMac 6100, 7100, or 8100 from the built-in-video port?

A: No. The timings required to run our TPD/19 or /21 are not supported by the Power Macintosh. However, with the PrecisionColor 8XJ card (model 0369), these displays can still be used. The Power Mac 6100 also requires Apple's Nubus Adapter, available from authorized Apple resellers.

Q: Can I run a Radius TPD from the built-in video of a Power Macintosh that has PCI slots?

A: No. The timings required to run our TPD19/21 are not supported by the Power Macintosh. However, with the Thunder30/1152, ThunderColor30/1152, Thunder30/1600, ThunderColor30/1600, these displays can still be used.

Q: Can I run a TPD from an Apple 8•24 interface card?

A: No. The timings required to run our TPD19/21 are not supported in the Apple 8•24 interface card

Q: What is the difference between a TPD/19 and a TPD/21?

A: The TPD/21 shows a larger image than the TPD/19, but they both show the SAME amount of information on the screen. That is, they both offer the same resolution of 1152x882.

Q: My TPD is dimming. What can I do about it?

A: In most cases, the dimming can be corrected by internal adjustments. Contact your nearest Radius Authorized Service Center to acheive those adjustments. To locate the Radius Authorized Service Center in your area, call 1-800-227-2795

Q: Is the TPD/19 or /21 compatible with System 7.5?

A: At this time, certain interfaces have not been tested with System 7.5 and remain unsupported. These interfaces include the original TPD-II interface, GS/C, Direct Color 8, Direct Color 16, Direct Color 24, PrecisionColor 8. However, the PrecisionColor 8X, 8XJ, and 24X, as well as the PCI -based Thunder30/1152, ThunderColor30/1152, Thunder30/1600, ThunderColor30/1600, should properly run with System 7.5 and later.
