The IIcx has not been tested with memory greater in size than 1MB though higher density SIMMs should work.

32-BIT Information

The ROMs in this system are not 32-bit-clean, but with the 32-Bit System Enabler under System 7.1 or MODE32 with versions of System 7 prior to 7.1, they can run in 32-bit mode and can take advantage of more than 8MB of physical RAM.
