Notes
The Macintosh IIvx has 4mb soldered to the logic board. If you are installing 16MB SIMMs, verify they are the 8 chip version, composite type SIMMs (those with 32 chips) have not been tested and have caused problems.
32-BIT Information
This system has 32-bit-clean ROMs allowing it to take advantage of more than 8MB of physical RAM under System 7 by enabling 32 bit addressing in the Memory Control Panel.
VRAM Information
The IIvx has two VRAM SIMM slots capable of supporting two 256k or two 512k VRAM SIMMs rated at 100ns or faster.

A total of 1MB of VRAM is possible.
