Notes| The Workgroup Server 6150 is functionally equivalent to the Power Macintosh 6100 with regards to expandability. | The Power Macintosh 6100 operates in 32 bit mode only and cannot be toggled back to 24 bit mode. SIMMs must be installed in pairs of the same size. Failure to do so will result in the Power Macintosh thinking that both SIMMs are of the higher density. System crashes are possible in this situation. Possible RAM configurations are 8, 16, 24, 40 and 72 MB. VRAM Information | The Power Macintosh 6100/60 uses DRAM based video which will support up to 16 bit video on 14-inch monitors, and 8 bit video on 16-inch monitors when connected to the HD-45 video port. | DRAM based video is not expandable.
