The Power Macintosh G3 Minitower computer uses a new type of memory called SDRAM.

This computer comes standard with 32 MB of SDRAM (one 32 MB DRAM DIMM). You can expand the total memory to a maximum of 384 MB using 64-bit, JEDEC standard, 3.3 V, unbuffered SDRAM DIMMs.

32 MBThe power Macintosh G3 Minitower logic boards come standard with 32 MB of SDRAM (one 32 MB DIMM).
Up to 384 MBUse 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 or 128 MB 168-pin DIMMs.

Note: SDRAM DIMMs can be installed one at a time, and in any slot as there are no interleaving benefits.

Video Memory Note: The computer comes standard with 2 MB of SGRAM video memory. There is one video memory slot on the board that accepts up to a 4 MB SGRAM module for a maximum of 6 MB of video memory.
