Notes

The Quadra 605 has 4MB soldered to the logic board and has one expansion slot. Single sided SIMMs in 1, 4, 8 or 16MB densities are supported and double sided SIMMs in 2, 4 or 32MB densities are supported.

32-BIT Information

This system has 32-bit-clean ROMs allowing it to take advantage of more than 8MB of physical RAM under System 7 by enabling 32 bit addressing in the Memory Control Panel.

VRAM Information

The Quadra 605 has 512k of VRAM installed via two 256k VRAM SIMMs installed. Upgrading to 1MB of VRAM is accomplished by replacing those SIMMs with two 512k, 68 pin, 80ns VRAM SIMMs.
