Notes

The Quadra 900/950 has 16 SIMM slots as shown in two columns above. Each bank of four SIMM slots is comprised of two slots in each column. You must completely fill a bank of four slots when expanding memory. * 16MB SIMMs have not been tested and are not officially supported on the Quadra900/950. DO NOT USE COMPOSITE SIMMS IN THE QUADRA 900/950!

32-BIT Information

This system has 32-bit-clean ROMs allowing it to take advantage of more than 8MB of physical RAM under System 7 by enabling 32 bit addressing in the Memory Control Panel.

VRAM Information

The Quadra 900/950 can be expanded to a maximum of 2MB of VRAM by adding up to four 256k VRAM SIMMs rated at 80ns or faster.
