Notes

The Quadra 610 has 4mb soldered to the logic board. It is functionally equivalent to the Centris 610 and the Workgroup Server 60. The Quadra 610 has a flexible memory system, meaning that any supported SIMM size can go into any SIMM socket in any order, and they can run with partially populated banks. It doesn't support 1MB, 2MB, or 64MB SIMMs. DO NOT USE COMPOSITE SIMMS IN THE QUADRA 610!

32-BIT Information

This system has 32-bit-clean ROMs allowing it to take advantage of more than 8MB of physical RAM under System 7 by enabling 32 bit addressing in the Memory Control Panel.

VRAM Information

The Quadra 610 has two VRAM SIMM slots capable of supporting two 256k VRAM SIMMs rated at 80ns or faster. A total of 1MB of VRAM is possible.
