The PowerBook G3 Series comes with a minimum of 32 MB of RAM on the undersaide slot of the microprocessor board. One RAM expansion slot can accommodate a single card of up to 128 MB for a total of 192 MB.

Note: The microprocessor board has two memory card slots. The top slot is the user-replaceable slot (128 MB only in top slot). The slot on the underside of the board is used by the factory.

DRAM Configurations
32 MB The PowerBook G3 Series has a minimum of 32 MB of RAM on the lower slot of the microprocessor board.
Up to 192 MB One RAM expansion slot can accommodate a single card of up to 128 MB for a total of 192 MB. 128 MB SO-DIMM (1.5-inch wide card) required in top slot for space reasons.
